Operating on the largest network of international express routes, Lux Express Group introduces into the Polish market their luxury brand dedicated to a more demanding client, starting off with the Warsaw-Krakow route. The fare, which does not exceed 59 PLN, guarantees a journey with a coach that, among other facilities, offers: comfortable, reclinable seats, plenty of legroom and individual touch-screen media systems (with videos, music, games, Internet). In the journey, passengers may enjoy free coffee and tea. Moreover, it is possible to charge mobile devices with the power supplies, which are available by every seat pair.

Ticket sales will be realized in the Internet via Lux Express online sales system and in the Warsaw-based office. The Warsaw-Krakow ticket maximum fare will be 59PLN with the basic (fixed) discounts being: -80% for children up to 7, -40% for children up to 16, -10% for the youth up to 26, and -40% for passengers above 60. Lux Express PINS offers good discounts for frequent travelers, the logic of it is that the more you travel, the more you win. The loyalty program consists of the following levels: Level 1 (11-25 trips) –15% discount; Level 2 (26-40 trips ) –  30% discount;  VIP level (40+ trips) –  40% discount.

Additionally, various temporary discounts are planned which will be announced on the Lux Express home page and the social media pages. For the first months, Lux Express will provide tickets with different campaign prices starting from 15 zl.

The Lux Express Group is present in the Polish market since 2012 with their low-cost bus brand Simple Express. Currently the company operates international routes via Poland to Vilnius, Berlin and Prague.

„Today on the Polish market people can choose between different options: TLK, which is affordable, but lacks in comfort; Intercity and Pendolino which are more comfortable, but are also quite expensive. There are possibilities to use airplanes, which are faster in travel time, but include hassle in the airport and the price is the highest on the market. Travelers can also take the car or use current bus operators, the first includes “wasted time” for the driver and the today’s bus operators might provide cheap prices, but do not provide a comfortable service. Therefore, we see that there is a market gap in today’s situation.

“Recognizing the needs of the people in Poland, we believe that the Polish passengers will appreciate the premium sister of the already recognized Simple Express coaches.” –  said the Lux Express Group Chairman of the Board, Hannes Saarpuu – „Our mission is to introduce a new value in the coach-operating market, while simultaneously proving that the bus journey may be comfortable and affordable at the same time.”– adds Saarpuu.

In 2014 Lux Express Group carried more than 1.6 mln passengers in total, which is more than two times higher than last year; 127 980 of them travelled with the Lux Express coaches that crossed Poland in 2014, comparing to the year 2013 when it was 92 150. Company’s profit in 2014 was 2,5mln, which is almost twice the amount gained in the year 2013 (1,4 mln euro).

Starting off with the Warsaw – Krakow connection, the company plans to expand on the key Polish cities. The company believes that there is a market gap in at least in the following city-pairs: Warsaw – Olsztyn, Warsaw – Bialystok, Warsaw-Wroclaw, Warsaw – Torun, Warsaw – Lodz, Warsaw – Kielce, Warsaw – Gdansk, Wroclaw – Poznan.
